A Jerusalem family which wished to celebrate their son's Bar Mitzva in Bnei Brak feared that it would be delayed due to heavy traffic from the gay parade taking place in the center of Jerusalem.

The father asked traffic police if they could help.

The police unit responded by making a procession and accompanying the family until it left Jerusalem.

The father thanked the policemen who said they had been excited to accompany a Bar Mitzva boy on his special day and to help him arrive on time.
