The military appeals court judges said in the verdict that "we did not find that trying Elazar Azaria was an exception.Sufficient evidence was gathered for a conviction."
They added, "The prosecution's decision to accuse Azaria was not influenced by the declarations of the then defense minister and the chief of staff. There is no selective enforcement."
