General (Res.) Uzi Dayan spoke to Reshet Bet In advance of the military court's decision on the appeal regarding Elor Azariya's conviction.
Dayan said: "We need to remove from the military lexicon the word 'to neutralize.' An explosive device is neutralized, a terrorist is eliminated."
The military court will submit its decision regarding the appeal Sunday. After attorney Yoram Sheftel submitted an appeal of the 1.5 year jail sentence given to Azariya, the prosecution also appealed the leniency of the sentence and asked to send him to jail for 2 years.
