An 80-year-old pedestrian was badly injured when she was hit by a car in Kiryat Tivon near Haifa.
Medical staff treated her on the scene but efforts to save her failed and she was declared dead.
MDA paramedic Hassan Hatib who arrived on the scene in an MDA emergency vehicle said that "a woman in her late seventies was lying on the pavement near the road with multiple serious injuries.We performed a number of medical procedures but she was not breathing and within a short time we were forced to declare her dead."
