The British minister of immigration, Brandon Lewis, announced that the open borders with the EU would end immediately after Britain leaves the EU in March 2019.
Lewis added that the government would try to restrict the number of migrants entering the country to 10,000 per year, after the past few years have seen a huge increase in immigration to Britain from the EU and from Muslim countries.
