A senior police official said Thursday morning that "the inspection of the entrances to the Temple Mount has almost completely returned to the situation before the attack on the compound."
The July 14th attack saw two policemen killed by terrorists who used weapons smuggled into the holy site for lack of metal detectors. Installation of metal detectors led to violence by Muslims.
