Doctors at Rehovot's Kaplan hospital managed to perform an emergency C-section for one of the people wounded in the accident which took place Sunday at the entrance to Benei Re'em.
The baby was taken for continued treatment at the emergency neonatal ward.
The mother is in stable condition and is sedated and respirated. The operation was successful.
Doctors continue to treat the injured people from the road accident.
