Elor Azaria, convicted of manslaughter after shooting a neutralized terrorist in Hevron, was released from the Israel Defense Forces Thursday morning.
Since his IDF service had ended, the court decided to put him on house arrest until a ruling is made on his appeal of the 18-month sentence handed down in the case. He will be allowed to go to religious services under his parents' supervision.
