The Jerusalem District Planning Committee approved for reading the plans submitted by mayor Nir Barkat to establish public buildings and cultural buildings for the Religious Zionist community in Kiryat Yovel, as well as establishing an educational center for all sectors in Ramat Eshkol.
The new plans are part of a general new approach being led by the mayor in the last few months in conjunction with the Community Centers and sectoral representatives in order to maintain the nature of neighborhoods and prevent friction while providing optimal solutions for educational and communal needs of various sectors.
