Yesh Atid founder Yair Lapid referred to the submarine controversy and said "with security you don't play around. Security is crucial. If the prime minister approved the German submarine deal with Egypt, the Israeli public should receive an explanation."
Lapid claimed that the prime minister is neck deep in investigations and has no public and moral mandate to make fateful decisions and should therefore resign.
