Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Tuesday that he made it "very clear" to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that "my government would defend the Jews of the state and that I had zero tolerance for anti-Semitism."
Speaking at a joint news conference with Netanyahu, Orban said that Hungary is aware of the dark chapter in its history that took place during the Holocaust. He said, "Previous governments of Hungary sinned during the Second World War when they did not defend the Jews."
