Arab media reported on Tuesday that the king of Saudi Arabia personally intervened via the United States in the crisis over closure of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem's Old city following last Friday's terror murder of two Israeli police officers.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced that he would allow Saudi officials to come to the mount and see first hand that the status quo in the area is being preserved.
