The Welfare Ministry took back its opposition to same-sex adoption it had submitted to the Supreme Court.
An announcement published by Welfare Minister Haim Katz's office said that "The wording submitted to the Supreme Court about adoption was flawed. The Minister has no intention of denying the ability to adopt from this or that group."
