Revocation of health insurance from terrorists endorsed

The Ministerial Committee on Legislation has endorsed a bill proposed by Member of Knesset Anat Berko to cancel the eligibility for government health insurance to anyone who is wounded while carrying out a terrorist offense or who was wounded during an illegal stay in an enemy state.

The bill seeks to establish a restriction on the receipt of health services based on acts of terror as defined in the Anti-Terrorism Law.
