Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem Dov Kalmanovich warned on Arutz Sheva that National Religious schools are being transferred to haredi elements and this makes national religious people feel unwanted in Jerusalem at present.
A huge complex in Neve Yaakov has been transferred to haredi elements even though it served a significant portion of the national-religious public and contained a synagogue for Ethiopians and a Bnei Akiva branch. Now they are being moved away and the school will serve the haredi public.
Kalmanovich mentioned other schools which had been closed to the National Religious public and warned that young national religious Jews would be left without appropriate institutions in Jerusalem.
