Representatives of the Quartet met in Jerusalem Thursday to discuss the efforts to restart the peace process in the Middle East as well as the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
The representatives expressed their concern at what they termed the "increasingly severe humanitarian situation" and discussed efforts to solve the electricity issue in Gaza. They also agreed to continue their contacts with Israel and the Palestinians to promote the peace process.
