Attorney Zeev Sharf who is representing the organizations opposing the Western Wall arrangement submitted an urgent petition asking the High Court to allow the Chief Rabbinate independent legal counsel regarding the arrangement.
Sharf said that the Rabbinate's position is that no change should be made to worshiping arrangements at the Western Wall. However this position is not in tandem with the position presented by the Attorney General, and therefore Sharf is demanding separate legal counsel.
