In a road accident on Road 4 near the entrance to Gan Yavne which is adjacent to Ashdod, 25 people on a bus were lightly injured. Part of the road has been blocked to traffic.
The injured persons were treated by MDA teams and transferred to the Kaplan hospital in Rehovot and the Barzilai hospital in Ashkelon. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
