The Tel Aviv District Court has sentenced 23-year-old Mahmud Badir from Kafr Qassem to a four-and-a-half-year prison sentence in connection with the December striking of a volunteer policeman on the Ayalon Highway, according to Yediot Ahronot.
Badir was convicted for hitting the officer and fleeing the scene. The officer suffered critical injuries in the incident.
