On Sunday, the Ministerial Committee on Legislation will discuss a bill by Member of Knesset Elazar Stern (Yesh Atid) which would allow city rabbis to set up conversion courts.
It passed in the previous term as a government decision, but with the establishment of the current government, it was cancelled due to the pressure of the haredi-religious parties.
