President Antonio Tajani of the European Parliament has directly admonished Chairman Neoklis Sylikiotis of the parliament's Delegation for relations with Palestine for a meeting with the relatives of convicted terrorists, saying “such meetings must not become a platform for terrorism, nor should the agenda or guests put the reputation of this institution at risk.”
Tajani was responding to a letter addressed by 17 parliament members protesting the meeting.
