Former Labor Party chairwoman Shelley Yechimovich threw her support on Thursday to Avi Gabbay in next week's runoff for party chairman against Member of Knesset Amir Peretz.
She said Gabbay's announcement today that if elected, he will ask current chairman Yitzhak Herzog to continue serving as chairman of the opposition is a model of proper, honest and noble conduct.
