The Knesset approved for initial reading the bill proposed by MK Hamad Amar(Yisrael Beitenu) to maintain a proper representation in government companies for the Druze and Chercassian populations.
"The Druze are 2% of the population but in public service there is only 0.6% representation, so such a bill is necessary." said Hamad Amar.
