88-year-old wheelchair-bound woman hit, killed by car

A car hit an 88-year-old woman in a wheelchair and the carer who was helping her cross the road in Rishon Letzion.

MDA paramedics performed emergency resuscitation procedures on the woman but declared her dead on the scene. The 34-year-old carer was moderately injured and transferred to Assaf Harofeh medical center.
