The Ministry of Environmental Protection has summoned managers of Rotem Amfert fertilizers to a hearing on Monday due to the severe environmental pollution in Nahal Ashalim, caused by a breach in the wall of a company holding pool for acid waste on Friday.
Channel 10 Televison reports that according to one of the clauses of the summons, it is possible to understand that the company was not prepared for a leak.
