Prime Minister Netanyahu used his veto power to prevent a vote in the ministerial legislative committee over the "Jerusalem Law" initiated by MK Shuli Mualem-Rafaeli,(Jewish Home) which would require a consensus of 80 MKs for any concessions made in negotiations over Jerusalem.
The Jewish Home party which supported the law responded by saying that "Jerusalem will be reunited with actions and not speeches. We will continue to fight for this law to pass."
