The State Comptroller has asked Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked to avoid promoting a law which would allow ministers to appoint directors to roles which fall under their ministerial jurisdiction.
The Comptroller explained that the matter is still under investigation and therefore ministers should wait until his report is published before making any changes on the matter.
The subject of appointing directors to government ministries has been a hotly debated topic for a number of years.
