A Saudi official denied on Thursday a report by the New York Times that former crown prince Mohammed bin Nayef was confined to a palace and barred from traveling abroad after he was replaced by his cousin Prince Mohammed bin Salman as next in line to the throne.
The official told Reuters, "It's not true, 100 percent."
