The parents of hospitalized children in the Hematology Department at the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem announced on Wednesday evening that they had decided to suspend their hunger strike, following a request by retired judge Elyakim Rubinstein, who is mediating between the doctors of the department and the hospital.
The parents said they agreed to suspend the hunger strike as a gesture of goodwill meant to encourage the doctors and the hospital administration to reach an agreed solution.
