About 1.65 metric tons of beef products produced by Aleph Haklaut Liman Limited were destroyed by district and city health inspectors in Nahariya on Tuesday, after an inspection of the Hacohanim factory revealed they had passed their expiration dates and were stored under poor sanitary conditions.
The health authorities are taking additional enforcement steps against the food business.
