Member of Knesset Eyal Ben Reuven (Zionist Union) said on Tuesday "If there is intelligence information about preparations for the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian regime, it is appropriate that the Americans take proactive preventive action."
Responding to reports that the United States has identified preparations by the Syrian regime for another chemical attack against civilians, the retired general continued, "Such American involvement is correct for the Israeli interest in the region."
