Chairman Nachman Shai of the Knesset Lobby for Strengthening the Jewish People has convened an emergency meeting of the lobby on Tuesday morning to discuss the government's freezing of change at the Western Wall and endorsement of a bill to put conversions under the authority of the Chief Rabbinate.
The Jewish Agency Board of Governors has changed its agenda to attend the meeting.
