Following an investigation conducted by the commander of the Nahal Brigade, an officer and two soldiers were sentenced to seven days in prison, and another soldier was sent to five days in prison for not fulfilling personal and command responsibility when a soldier fell asleep in a firing area during an exercise of a Nahal regiment.
In addition, another officer was severely reprimanded and fined, and a command note was given to the battalion commander and to the company commander. Among the officers who were tried were the brigade's safety officer and a platoon commander.
