Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon signed new directives allowing a new phase in planning and construction. The new directives will reduce regulation and bureacracy in licensing and construction procedures and will shorten the period of time for receiving building permits to a maximum of 45 days from the time when the request is processed.
The new directives will also allow different types of construction additions and most additions will not require the approval of the Israel Lands Authority.
