A Tel Aviv bus driver complained that a man entered his bus on Dizengoff street in Tel Aviv, placed his hands on the cash register and stole money from it. When the driver tried to prevent him from stealing, the man pummelled him all over his body.
The driver was transferred in light condition to the Ichilov hospital for medical treatment. Police arriving at the scene arrested the suspect, who was later remanded in custody.
