The Tel Aviv District Court sentenced Avraham Keshet, a Jerusalem resident, to 18 years in jail after he was convicted of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm. Keshet was also ordered to pay compensation of 150,000 NIS.
Keshet claimed during his trial that he was controlled by another personality when he performed the offensive acts but this claim was rejected by the court.
