18 Peace and human rights organizations published a joint announcement in which they expressed their solidarity with the Breaking the Silence organization after the spokesman of the organizations was interrogated by police last week. The signatories included Amnesty Israel, Be'tselem and Peace Now.

"We stand with our friends in Breaking the Silence and will not be silent until the occupation ends. The investigation is not meant to achieve justice but rather to intimidate the critics of the occupation from expressing their opinion," the statement read.
