The United Nations' health agency reported that there are over 200,000 suspected cholera cases in Yemen, many of whom are children.
1,300 people have died from the disease, a quarter of them children.
An estimated 5,000 new cases are reported every day.
"We are now facing the worst cholera outbreak in the world," UNICEF Director Anthony Lake and World Health Organization Chief Margaret Chan said on Saturday in a statement.
