A one-year-old baby was evacuated by helicopter to the Soroka hospital in Beersheva in serious condition after he choked on a food item during the course of a meal in his home in Mitzpe Ramon.
MDA paramedics summoned to the scene provided the infant with medical treatment and transferred him to hospital sedated and respirated.
