Finance Ministry Director-General Shai Babad called on Monday for the integration of haredim and Arabs in order to fill the significant shortage of skilled manpower in the industry.
Speaking at the Eli Hurvitz conference of the Israel Democracy Institute at the David Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem, Babad said technological training would help both the targeted population sectors and industry. He decried the lack of schools to provide this training.
