Maccabi Tel Aviv, the top seed in the first round of qualifying for soccer's European League, has drawn perennial Albanian champion KF Tirana as its first-round opponent. KF Tirana has been relegated to Albania's second division. The first game will be in Tel Aviv a week from Thursday, with the away leg a week later.

Beitar Jerusalem will host Vasas FC, which defeated Beitar in a training match in Hungary on Sunday. As is the case for Tel Aviv, the first match is on June 29th, with the away leg in Budapest on July 6th. Tougher going is expected if Beitar makes it to the second round.
