The Syrian army said on Sunday night that the United States-led coalition fighting the Islamic State (ISIS) had brought down one of its aircraft in southern Raqa, the Russian Sputnik news agency reported.
According to the report, which cited a Defense Ministry statement, the Syrian jet fighter that was downed was carrying out military tasks against ISIS.
