The ALAM (Aleph, Lamed, Mem) electronics retailer has informed Arutz Sheva that it will start using contractors in areas where it currently does not provide installation for the air conditioners it sells.
ALAM was responding to complaints that the purchase contract specificly states that installation is not available in eastern Jerusalem, the Jordan Valley, the northern Golan Heights and Jewish communities beyond the armistice line. The lack of installation also applies in the Dead Sea area and the Arava area along the Jordanian border between the Dead Sea and Eilat.
