The Bloomberg Media Network reports that the Obama administration conducted two secret discussions with the Kremlin last October in which it warned of a deterioration in relations between the two countries due to the cyber attack in the run up to American elections.
According to the report, the Russians penetrated computers in 39 US states and tried to disrupt details and votes of citizens. During the discussion the Americans presented proofs of Russian involvement in the cyber attack.
