MK Moshe Gafni(UTJ) referred to his speech at the Haaretz conference in which he stated that "the Palestinians were here before us" and added that his views are close to those of the left.
Gafni stated that he had echoed the views of his rabbinic mentors and added that he did not belong to the Left "which had always harmed all which is holy to us."
