Egypt has offered to Hamas to supply electricity to the Gaza Strip and to ease restrictions at the Rafah crossing, according to the London-based pan-Arabic newspaper Ash-Sharq il-Awsat.
In return, Cairo wants the extradition of wanted persons, the tightening of security along the rest of the Gaza-Sinai border and a stop to arms smuggling into Sinai.
