The Histadrut Labor Federation has submitted a 15-million-shekel suit against Sodastream in the Be'er Sheva' District Labor Court. The union claims that the lawsuit was filed following what it called "systematic, unprecedented and sophisticated damage to which the senior echelon of management is involved - in the organization of its employees in the Rahat factory."
Along with the request for compensation, the court was asked to immediately stop the home carbonated-beverage maker's conduct with regard to steps it has taken against employees seeking to exercise their legal right to unionize.
