A memorial service is scheduled for 7:30 pm Thursday at the Yad Rabbi Nissim memorial in Jerusalem for Rabbi Benny Elon, who passed away about a month ago following his battle with cancer.
Among the participants will be Knesset Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein and Ashkenazic Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem Aryeh Stern.
