After much criticism, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Tourism Minister Yariv Levin have decided to remove the clause in the Nationality Law before the Knesset that distinguishes the status of the Hebrew language from Arabic, according to Channel 2 Television.
In the previous proposal, it was stated that Hebrew is the language of the state and the Arabic language is special, but not like Hebrew.
