The state has asked the Supreme Court to dismiss the petition issued against the prime minister serving as communications minister.
In the state's announcement to the court it said that the prime minister intended to bring the matter of a possible ministerial appointment to the cabinet for approval on Sunday and therefore the state feels that there is no need for a petition on the matter.
